Wenzl McGowen on the DV Bass 7
The DV Bass 7 mouthpiece is a shiny monster. When your lips touch it, it roars and grunts like a beast but if you choose to, you can make it sound sweet and soft like a teddy bear. The potential of this mouthpiece is unbelievable. It’s almost like it does not exist and it disappears because its design is perfectly aligned with your intension. You don’t have to think about it anymore. You become the music, but don’t get arrogant about it; it’s the hard work of JodyJazz that gives you this freedom.
