John Laughter on the SUPER JET Alto 7

"I have tried the JJ "Super Jet" Alto #10, #9 and #8. I wanted to check out the differences between the tip openings. I had been playing a 90 in another high baffle m/p for years and really enjoyed it. Then I tried the Super Jet #7 and it is a winner (for me) with a #1.5 or #2 plasti reed. I tune a tad higher with a relaxed embouchure and it is absolutely a fun m/p in all respects. I play party music and this m/p with get dirty and funky yet sweet when needed. And volume? Wow! Need to back off the mic at times. Thanks Jody and staff for designing it!"
