Benjamin Gallegos on the HR* CUSTOM DARK Baritone 7

"I bought my HR* Custom Dark from Sweetwater about a year ago. I played it last year in a concert band concert, which it did well in, but I mainly use it in a rock band now. The JJ gives me an aggressive edge, while still giving me a good, full tone. I don't have to sacrifice one for the other with the JJ mouthpiece.

My set up is the HR* Custom Dark with a JJ ligature. I use a medium-soft Carbon Onyx Fiberreed. My saxophone is a low Bb Selmer-Bundy from about 1976. With this set-up, I have a monster low end, and a clear, full high end, with the range following suit. I highly recommend this mouthpiece for anyone who wants to up their game."
