Very dynamic, POWERFUL but outstanding in the low register
"I was looking for a versatile mouthpiece for my Mark VI. I was looking for something that can play quiet (especially in the low register / subtones) but also bright, edgy and loud.
After researching for a while I narrowed down my options to DV CHI and SUPER JET, but where I live (Tokyo) is not that easy to find this kind of high end mouthpieces. So I answered to the 6 questions in the JodyJazz website and the next day Jody himself contacted me recommending a couple of distributors in Japan.
I was able to try a few other JodyJazz models, but the Super Jet is what I was looking for: very dynamic, POWERFUL but outstanding in the low register as well. Great sound and awesome altissimo! I am extremely satisfied!
