" Jody, I’m not a pro. I have been playing an alto in church for 29 plus years. I’ve played in small settings and in front of thousands. All loud fun nasty improv and loving it. 20 years ago I bought my first metal mouthpiece and although I loved the bright edgy tone it gave me I hated the lack of control and sacrificing the lower range for the projection in the upper range. I broke down and bought the DV this past weekend and I cannot even begin to express what a delightful experience it has been. Absolutely incredible!!! For the first time in years I find myself counting down the minutes until I can play again. Projection in upper and lower and upper registers. Absolute control soft and loud. Effortless adjustment from bright to dark. I have many friends across the wide world of Pentecost and will be recommending they give it a ride. I have to say that this is not just for the touring pro or weekend warrior but anyone with that loves to play with passion. I’m blown away and wanted to say thanks for your commitment and dedication to producing such an outstanding mouthpiece. "
