" Hi Professor - I wisely purchased your amazing DV6 yesterday from Damian Cremisi, my new Italian friend at Dillon's here in central NJ. What can I say, except it was love at 1st sound ! I struggled a little w/ the #3 reed, until I popped on a Rigotti 2.5. Found the MP was very versatile & adaptable to whatever mood the tune called for and can't wait to start my scales, today, if you can believe that. After having been away 27 years, the DV6 gives all the projection, plus free-blowing I desire. And the sound will send chills throughout the entire nervous system of any normal human ... UNREAL ! It is am absolute dream to play ....especially with the Selmer #3 neck added to my SA 80 Series I .... and an elegantly aesthetic masterpiece to merely gaze upon during a break.
