The original DV was great but not enough resistance and it was too bright for me; the NY is everything I have been looking for in a mouthpiece for years. I play it on my Mark VI 98xxx, and I also play it on my Cannonball stone series and the sound is awesome,regardless what horn I play. I just want to tell you how much I appreciate the love and care you have for us musicians for always trying to make the best sound possible and help preserve this beautiful art form called JAZZ.
