"Beautiful rounded full warm sound, with a depth and richness of harmonics that is almost seductive.
I took Jody's excellent advice and went down to a 6 from my Meyer 7 in - a probably futile - pursuit of a cool West Coast Desmond/Pepper sound. But hey we all do it don't we.
Easy to blow and encourages a real engagement with your sound across the spectrum. The AS1 ligature is pretty cool too. I can comfortably put it over a Légère reed in the dark. I think my mouthpiece journey is over.
