Best Tenor mouthpiece I’ve ever played
"I am a professional saxophonist and have played over 40 years. I play all styles of music and literally have drawers full of mouthpieces that I’ve tried over the years. These days I primarily do wedding receptions and corporate gigs. Playing a lot of pop and Rock music . While in Savana GA I came across a Jody Jazz DV 7 mouthpiece at Portman’s music .I was playing a Vintage Otto Link FL mouthpiece . The very first note I blew on the DV I was convinced it was a total game changer! I played a few licks and bought the mouthpiece on the spot no quibble with the price it is worth every penny . I have since replaced my Alto and Bari mouthpieces with DV 7 s also it’s the only mouthpiece I use and I can’t say how much it has improved my projection and flexibility of tone . It gave me the power to really belt out the Rock music I primarily play . Thanks Jody for such an amazing mouth piece .
