Wendy Kristen Leber on the SUPER JET Tenor 6

"The Super Jet does exactly what it was designed to do for the sax -- it allows you to really cut through a 'plugged in' band (electric guitar, bass, drums) or a loud brassy band. However, you can still achieve a controlled sound if you need to blend in. As advertised, this mouthpiece produces a very bright & focused sound throughout the entire register of the sax. Furthermore, I've been able to reach the altissimo register much more easily with the Super Jet. It's just been a blast to play on!

The most valuable part of my experience with investing in a new mouthpiece has been the fantastic customer service from JodyJazz. Despite having success with adjusting to this mouthpiece on my alto sax, my first attempts with trying the Super Jet (7*) on my tenor didn't go quite as well. After emailing the company, Jody Espina (the founder, president, & designer) actually contacted me, & spent his time figuring out the best way to solve my dilemma. Along with providing some very valuable advice regarding embouchure adjustments, he sent me three mouthpieces to try out. Ultimately, I exchanged the Super Jet 7* for a 6. The entire JodyJazz crew have been incredibly understanding & helpful, & the return/exchange process was seamless. I highly recommend doing business with this company. They truly care about helping musicians find the right product for their needs!"
