” Jody, I’m not a pro. I have been playing an alto in church for 29 plus years. I’ve played in small settings and in front of thousands. All loud fun nasty improv and loving it. 20 years ago I bought my first metal mouthpiece and although I loved the bright edgy tone it gave me I hated the lack of control and sacrificing the lower range for the projection in the upper range. I broke down and bought the DV this past weekend and I cannot even begin to express what a delightful experience it has been.
