Bryn Ripley Biography

Bryn Ripley is a dynamic and accomplished saxophonist whose vibrant performances and technical prowess have captivated audiences worldwide. With a robust fan base of over 100,000 followers across social media platforms, amassing millions of views, Ripley has established a prominent presence in the music industry. She has dedicated her platform to inspiring girls to pick up the saxophone, advocating for gender diversity in the jazz community, and sharing her journey to encourage girls to embrace their musical talents.

Throughout her career, Ripley has shared the stage with an impressive lineup of renowned musicians, including Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthews Band), Steve Smith (Journey), David Paich (Toto), the legendary Earth, Wind & Fire, Zachery Levi (Chuck, Tangled) and many more. She has also toured globally as the Lead Alto for both the Crescent Super Band and Osmond Chapman Orchestra, performing for thousands. Ripley is also a determined educator with eight years of experience running a successful saxophone studio, imparting their knowledge and passion for music to students of all ages.

Graduating with a degree in Commercial Music with a Jazz Studies emphasis from Brigham Young University (BYU), Ripley honed her craft under the tutelage of esteemed saxophonist Ray Smith, and through rigorous academic training. Her time at BYU was marked by significant achievements, including competing as Lead Alto with Synthesis at the Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York, where Ripley was honored with the Outstanding Alto Saxophonist Award, a testament to her exceptional skill and dedication.

Currently based in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her husband and their aptly named cat, Jazz, Bryn Ripley is continually expanding her online presence, passionately sharing her love for the saxophone and jazz with audiences around the world.
