Uğur Yeniyol Biography

Uğur Yeniyol was born in Istanbul. He became interested in music at a young age. He was accepted as a full-time saxophone student at Istanbul University State Conservatory and graduated from the same school. At Philippos Nakos Conservatory located in Athens; he worked on the classical saxophone with Prof. Theodore Kerkezo. He has had the chance to come together and work repeatedly with American jazz saxophone artist Branford Marsalis. He entered the Yamaha wood wind competition and got into the final degrees. Currently, still performing and taking stage with, Ayhan Sicimoğlu & the Latin All Stars group playing the saxophone and flute. Also still gives at IUDK and private saxophone lessons.
